The ‘Predator-Prey Model’ project started in November 2023 and is led by the BIODESERTS research group within BIOPOLIS/CIBIO-InBIO, in collaboration with the Norwegian Institute for Nature Research (NINA, Norway), Wageningen University & Research (WUR, Netherland) and University of Ljubljana (Slovenia); the project is funded by the Royal Commission for AlUla (RCU, Saudi Arabia).
This project aims to provide the RCU with accurate knowledge on predator status and predator-prey interactions to support sustainable, science-based management decisions that consider the maintenance of ecosystem functions and ecological processes.
