I acquired a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and a Master’s degree in Ecology at the Faculty of Biology, University of Belgrade. I am taking a PhD program in Entomology at the same institution, where I’m studying aquatic Coleoptera. Since the first year of my studies, I dedicated my work into research of the diversity of insects, especially Coleoptera. Besides working with beetles I have been studying diversity of Butterflies and Dragonflies in arid regions of Saudi Arabia. The main scientific fields I am interested in are both traditional and molecular systematics, biogeography and phylogeny of insects.
